Meet Lydia

Meet Lydia Harman, your Realtor:

Born in Concord, I grew up in central and southern New Hampshire, surrounded by my family and friends. As a native of New Hampshire, I revel in the unique community spirit, which I have witnessed throughout my life, and that sets this state apart.

While I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Administration, I over-lapped my efforts as the co-owner of an exterior painting company. Upon receiving my diploma, I accepted an offer of a management position in retail. Though I assisted in meeting sales gains and training the staff, I was eager to return to business ownership. Nearly, simultaneous with the birth of the worldwide web, I jumped into e-commerce marketing in which I continue to have an interest.

However, I did manage to take a leave-of-absence from business to train with the United States Army Reserve, as a Medic, and serve my country.

A member of Toastmasters International, I received the speaking distinction of CTM. Through Toastmasters I was able to serve my community by coordinating a Speechcraft program. The program is designed to educate and encourage participants in embracing and mastering basic oral presentation skills.

As a volunteer coordinator for www.Kidsave.org International, I helped to orchestrate the 2001 and 2002 Summer Miracles hosting programs in NH and MA. Visiting orphans stayed with families and attended day camps. Many children found permanent families ready to proceed with their adoptions.

I am keenly aware that the human side of real estate is the only side of real estate. As a wife and mother of four, I know the hopes, dreams and aspirations we all have in common, and hold so dear are a big part of buying and selling a house. That's why, for me, this is more than a business. In pursuit of excellence, I strive to be the very best advocate, negotiator and advisor a buyer or seller can possibly find.
